Really Crispy Roast Pork

This is a great simple recipe for really crispy Roast Pork. It is inspired by the roast cripy pork in Chinese Restaurants so the recipe has some chinese flavours added but you can leave these out to suit your own taste. [amd-zlrecipe-recipe:22]   Serve with rice and stir fried vegetable. Being Asian, we usually have to have a garlic chilli sauce to go with the roast pork. This would be the same garlic chilli that goes with Hainanese Chicken Rice. What to do with leftovers, if

Hearty Pies and Real Ales at The Foundry Camden

Camden Town, the land of endless kebab and fried chicken shops and there really aren't that many real restaurants at all. Then there is The Foundry, which is a nice little restaurant off the main stretch and away from the crowds on Delancey Street. Walking in off the street you walk into the bar and casual dining area. The portraits of jazz musicians on t he galls hints at the theme of this restaurant cum live music venue. This rooms leads into a buffer space with a glass ceiling and a

New burger joint BRGR Soho

Another week, another new burger joint. This time it is BRGR in Soho. It is an expansion of a chain from Lebanon, strangely enough. I was there on the first week. There was a queue at the door and a buzzy if cramped dining room. There are a few casual tables as you walk in, an open kitchen on the right where the burgers are cooked and second dining room at the back. There are also a few seats in the window to maximise the seating in this small space. I dropped by for a quick lunch en

Donald Russell Christmas Party Box

Christmas parties can be such a drag as there is so much to shop for and prepare. How great would it be if we had a team of elves helping us out in the kitchen. It's not just the big Christmas lunch, there are also all the canapes and tid bits that we ambitiously want to make to thrill our guests with. How about a little short cut? I got a party pack from Donald Russell to try and it came with a variety of finger foods like meatballs, little ham croissants, sausage rolls, fish cakes, mini
